The financial services industry is ever-evolving. In order to grow and thrive, we must stay relevant and ahead of our competitors - for both our members today as well as our members in the future. In an ever-more digitally focused world, consumers have more options for financial services.  We want to ensure we stand out and represent Dover Federal Credit Union in a very busy landscape.  To be a preferred financial partner, we recognize the need for an updated look that reinforces our mission to empower our communities by educating and inspiring members along their financial journey through equitable financial products.  

Dover Federal Credit Union’s refreshed logo will provide an updated representation of our Credit Union's mission. It will serve as a reflection of our inclusion initiatives and pathways to financial freedom.  The brand will represent our history and the communities we serve as well as the financial aspirations of our members.

Dover Federal Credit Union received input from the Board of Directors, Leadership as well as an Industry leader who specializes in planning, designing and building branded spaces for both international and national brands with clients across the retail, healthcare and financial industries.   

We will reveal the new logo publicly to our members in early 2025 on our digital channels.  This will be a gradual transition that will take longer to see in physical signage and other locations.

During the course of the year, notifications, debit/credit/ATM cards, signage, checks and letters will continue to be updated.  As cards expire, members will receive one with the updated logo. 

Accounts are in no way impacted by the logo change.  All existing checks, debit/credit/ATM cards, documents and online banking programs will remain uninterrupted and require no action to be taken for the member.

Instant Issue Cards that are created in the branch, will be updated no later than the 2nd quarter of 2025.  As cards are set to expire, and automatically reissued and mailed, the new look will be implemented and distributed. Regardless of the logo that's on the card, all debit/credit/ATM cards will continue to work.

You can continue to use the checks you have since our routing number and your account number will not change. Check designs will be updated with the new logo and be available to order in the coming year.

Changes to branches and signage will take some time, but we anticipate signage updates to be made at our branches by the end of 2025. The new logo will be incorporated with all our branch and facility upgrades.
