The Veterans Benefits Banking Program

VBBP - You've earned it. Let's secure it.
You’ve Earned It, Let’s Secure It.

Dover Federal Credit Union is a proud supporter of our military and a participant in the Veterans Benefits Banking Program. In fact, our legacy began serving the military at Dover Air Force Base. From our inception, we have prided ourselves on our service to both active duty and veterans. We understand your financial needs and consider it an honor to provide Veterans and their families with access to affordable financial products and services while repaying our gratitude for your sacrifice and offering you the highest level of service.

The Veterans Benefits Banking Program (VBBP) is a program that the VA established through a partnership with the Association of Military Banks of America (AMBA). The program provides Veterans, beneficiaries, and caregivers (VA benefit recipients) with a safe, reliable, and inexpensive way to receive and manage their VA monetary benefits.

Our commitment is to helping Veterans, beneficiaries, survivors, and caregivers gain access to the financial products, services, and support they need. We are committed to ensuring all VA beneficiaries can open a low-to-no-cost checking account when they make a direct deposit to Dover Federal Credit Union.

Why is it important?

VBBP was created to provide Veterans with banking options and educational resources to help them achieve greater financial independence, resiliency, and literacy. VBBP lets veterans and beneficiaries receive VA benefits through direct deposit, manage monetary benefits effectively, and reduce fraud.

Now that you’re here, let’s get started on the benefits our products have to assist you in your financial journey:
